The fabric is sold as yardage, fat quarters, kits, and charm packs. Along with the fabric, notions, patterns, and books are available for purchase.
At Shops At Granny’s House you can find something for quilters of any age or level. Bead Happy has tables filled with beads of all shapes, sizes, and colors. Robin is the one to see for your beading questions and needs. She can help you put together a bracelet, watch, necklace, earrings, or ring out of glass, stone, wooden, clay or Swarovski crystal beads. There is also a selection of gold and silver findings. Shops At Granny’s House can provide you with everything you need to wear you own design.
The idea for Shops At Granny’s House originated with Robin’s idea to start a bead store in Moravia. She spent her time and money in a bead store in eastern Iowa nearly every weekend before the idea of opening her own store appealed to her. After hearing her idea, Sharon and Jill decided it would be fun to have their own quilt fabric as well. They then turned their grandparent’s old farmhouse into Shops At Granny’s House.
Along with the store room, Shops At Granny’s House also has a fun and brightly colored classroom where classes are available in both quilting and beading ranging from beginning to experienced. Classes are listed on the store calendar. For more information on a specific class give the store a call. Individual classes/lessons are available by appointment. The classroom can also be rented for beading parties for birthdays, bridal showers, get-togethers, or any other fun occasion.
